Natan Micallef presented his first full collection in a very interesting presentation that took the models right up to the audience. The idea behind the collection is the concept of reality in contrast to the surreal scenarios created by us individuals. This contrast is brought to life in different ways.
There is a distinct use of multiple layers in each look often using different textures and fabrics in a somewhat surprising but effective manner. Deconstructed elements and the 'undone' approach are key elements within the collection as is a distinct presence of masculine silhouettes paired with intimate inspired garments.
