"Intune" by Claudia Goagara, presented the "Interlude" collection this week at MFWA16. A chic and elegant line of cocktail and evening dresses, “Interlude” is the first collection to be showcased under this new brand.

From the artistic creations of twelve upcoming designers, to the timeless elegance of Gagliardi, the sophistication of Caroline Hili, Charles & Ron and Tiffany Pisani's creations, this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta brings you no less than 28 labels and brands to experience and admire on the catwalk.

Silk painter, Rosita presented her collection Joie de Vivre at MFWA16 this week. Hailing from Lithuania, Rosita is now living in Malta and using her creativity to express her inspirations through hand painted silk and satin scarves and apparel.

Carla Grima Atelier presented her S/S'16 collection, Ophelia, on Wednesday evening at Fort St Angelo. Specializing in digital prints, she creates her patterns through watercolor techniques, photography, and digital technology.

Marco Parascandalo, a sure favorite amongst the local crowd in Malta, put on quite a show yesterday at Birgu’s breathtaking Fort St Angelo. Guests arrived, wine glasses in hand, and were seated around a circular runway.

Gaetano presented his couture collection entitled <i>Nymph</i>, to a fully booked show atop the grand Fort St Angelo. A crowd of anxious guests anticipated the edgy designer’s luxurious eveningwear line for women, curious about its connection with “nymphs.

Many guests sat on the rooftop of the historic Fort St Angelo for Day 2 of #MFWA2016, dressed to impress and anxious to see what Malta’s biggest shopping mall, Tigne Point, has to offer.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Malta’s most highly anticipated fashion event, is this year introducing a new concept of a Fashion Fortress, which will be held at Fort Saint Angelo in Vittoriosa.
